Biography
Jessica X. Vega is an actuary at Northwestern Mutual in Milwaukee, WI. She previously worked as a consulting analyst with Willis Towers Watson’s Retirement Actuarial practice, supporting plan sponsors of defined benefit, defined contribution, and post-retirement welfare plans. Jess is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
Before actuarial science, Jess lived abroad in Peru, volunteered full-time with an AmeriCorps-style program, and worked in various roles with nonprofits in the Milwaukee area. She earned her BS in Mathematics and BA in Theological Studies from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. In her spare time, she plays ukulele and piano, practices Iyengar Yoga, learns from Tibetan monks, and loves the Great Lakes.
