Biography
Anji Li is an life actuary at Munich Re where she focuses on conducting mortality experience studies in North America. Her research and analyses have supported various publications and industry presentations, particularly in the realm of accelerated underwriting in the US market.
Anji began her actuarial career in life insurance consulting shortly after graduating from Purdue University with a B.S. in Actuarial Science and Applied Statistics. She is an Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
During her spare time, Anji serves on the Organization of Latino Actuaries (OLA) Board of Directors and volunteers as an Society of Actuaries (SOA) exam writer and grader. She loves exploring new recipes from her Chinese and Mexican heritage and dreams of starting a blog dedicated to preserving her family’s culinary traditions. She also loves traveling with her partner, and running outdoors. She speaks fluent Spanish and English.
